So, yeah, tonight i’ll be watching the old TV at Jeff’s, to check out if Annelies Rutten wins ‘De Slimste Mens’. But only to watch Tele, nothing else.
ooh la la
Oh la la la! I think somehow I was too busy with life to do the bloggy thing. Yes, yes, big time is a coming, because I’m writing a book. A book! I cannot tell everything, but it will be..revealing! Tough! More like a male book. Meanwhile Jeff asked me to be his girlfriend. What to do?
No, no, no, i am not going to ask you or you or you what I should do!
Jeff, he was my teacher. Now I live in his garden. Wel, you know. He protects me, and he asks me every night to sleep in the little house. I don’t do that you know. You know why, don’t you?
But it’s great playing ‘broek af’ with him, in his kitchen.
A game with cards.
I told him about that movie. In this movie the woman sais something like: damaged people are dangerous. They know how to survive. Writing this, I realise that the movie is called ‘Damaged’.
I meant that I could be dangerous.
Daily Times
Today, I found out The Daily Times is to be found online: you might be laughing out loud, but don’t forget, my native language is Dutch, so for someone like me it’s not a natural thing to read the Daily Times.
Very allone
I am a sad girl these day’s you know. I think my boyfriend and I broke up. Because I keep crying all the time, Jeff ordered me to do other stuff. To distract my mind. So what did I do since this very bad boyfriend and me broke up a week ago? I wrote a book, made 5999 pancakes, went horseriding and learned to cook. That’s a joke, of course I can cook! You know, there’s now point in missing a man, there’s work that needs to be done. Do you want me to explain the Belgian gouvernemental system? No no no, you don’t!
These days I live in Jef’s caravan. He’s supposed to be my English teachter but he’s entirelly preoccupied with the dancing class he’s taking now. So I am alone. No boyfriend, no teacher. Tomorrow I’m going to buy a cat, okay?

In Begium they have socialists. It’s oldafashioned.
We still call them socialists, but actually they are not communists. They are more like social democrats. On the first day of May, Labour Day needs to be celebrated. Like elsewere. Why don’t the US have social democrats? Confusing. Actually, I might take a look since my boyfriend visits his parents today. He never takes me to his parents. Probably because he doesn’t give a..penny.
Newspapers.
In Vlaanderen, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, there only are a few intresting newspapers:
- De Morgen (used to be progressive, is very neutral nowerdays)
- Het Laatste Nieuws (the biggest one)
- De Standaard (high standards indeed, rather conservative)
I try to read as many as possible, but to improve my English I found some intresting links to newspapers in English.

When I was a bit younger my spoken English was close to outstanding. Somehow I lost this skil, probably because I never use it anymore. In a world were everybody speaks English, this is a disaster.
So I decided to study English again and I hired an English teacher. His name is Jeff.
He ordered me to start blogging in English. At first, I wanted to kill him, but maybe this is not such a bad idea.
So..what’s happening? I’ll tell you some stuff about myself and my country and you can respond or tell me about my mistakes.
Like that, I won’t need my teacher anymore. But he doesn’t realise that;-)
